Mission Statement
Media Cause is a nonprofit marketing agency with a clear mission to accelerate the growth and impact of organizations and individuals doing good around the world.
Our team is made up of 55+ digital marketers, talented creatives, seasoned fundraisers, and tech experts. Anchored by our commitment to social good and dedication to our craft, we’re ready to help organizations, like yours, move their missions forward.
Our nonprofit marketing services are designed to help achieve the common goal mission-driven organizations share—to impact change in the world. Here at Media Cause, we believe marketing strategies and tactics are at the forefront of achieving this. Our marketing services can help your nonprofit with a wide variety of needs— communicating with donors, sharing important updates on your social media, running advocacy campaigns, and so much more. Each of our service lines is designed to meet the unique needs of our clients, helping them to amplify their impact and achieve their goals. Our 12 comprehensive service lines include: Research + Strategy, Brand Strategy, SEO, Data Analytics, Paid Media, MarTech, Ad Grants, Social Media, Email Marketing, Fundraising, Creative + Content, and Websites.
We are anchored by our dedication to social good and team-first company culture, with a group of talented, devoted, selfless dreamers ready to help our amazing clients. We began in April 2010 as a volunteer matching platform for nonprofits and digital marketing professionals. In the first year, Media Cause built a global network of more than 1,000 volunteers and completed over 100 pro bono marketing projects for smaller nonprofits and NGOs.
It quickly became clear that a volunteer platform wasn’t enough. As a result, in 2011, our small staff began taking on consulting projects for nonprofits that needed additional marketing support, which forever changed the direction of Media Cause—a nonprofit marketing agency was born. Over the years, the company has grown and changed at a rapid rate, opening additional offices, adding new members to the team, expanding our services to adapt to the ever-changing digital marketing industry, focusing on DEI with programs like RiseUp, and giving others the tools they need to impact change with Rally Starter. Today we are a 70+ person team with 11 service areas and over 100 clients. Why do you think it’s important for your business or organization to support nonprofits and community organizations in Southeast Michigan and what kind of positive impact do you think your work could have?
