Mission Statement
Mission: NEW inspires and equips mission-driven people, organizations and communities to realize their visions of a just and thriving society.   Vision: Empowered leaders, flourishing nonprofits, and vibrant communities.
Why do you think it’s important for your business or organization to support nonprofits and community organizations in Southeast Michigan and what kind of positive impact do you think your work could have?
We, the team at NEW, have been providing trusted guidance to the Michigan nonprofit ecosystem for nearly 30 years. We’re confidants and strategists. We’re technicians and activators of space. We’re connectors–we cultivate powerful learning communities, help leaders locate essential skills and knowledge, create time and space for people to lead, learn, connect, work, and make a difference in our communities. We know there are systemic issues and inequities that make it near impossible for every person in our community to thrive. We know that crises compound existing inequity. We have been rallying our collection of tools and resources and people to support our nonprofit partners and community leaders so that they’ll have what they need to serve and respond throughout the current crisis and beyond.. We’ll offer training, technology and other solutions, so that ultimately, we can shift ourselves, our organizations, and our world toward greater health, freedom and justice for everyone.
