Mission Statement
Sonder Haven serves in creating paths forward for personal, professional and, organizational/community growth and development. As the former Executive Director of Leadership Oakland, a non-profit civic leadership program, I am passionate about helping individuals, organizations and communities thrive and reach their fullest potential.
Why do you think it’s important for your business or organization to support nonprofits and community organizations in Southeast Michigan and what kind of positive impact do you think your work could have?
I believe in using my strengths and talent to help lift others up, especially underserved and marginalized populations. It’s a passion that surfaced when I worked for a public health hospital in Cleveland and grew stronger as I shifted my career into organizational & leadership development, non-profit leadership, and now as an entrepreneur. My time as Executive Director of Leadership Oakland afforded the opportunity to be a change agent in the community, and I plan to continue that role in my own business.
