In 2020, Co.act Detroit launched a pilot program called the Activate Fund, designed to accelerate impact in southeast Michigan’s nonprofit community through capacity building grants, collaboration support, and the incubation of nonprofit earned revenue models. The Activate Fund also cultivated a network of consultants and professionals like you. In our engagement with this group, we heard a desire for more structured opportunities to connect and collaborate with one another.

This is why in the summer of 2023 Co.act Detroit and Michigan Community Resources partnered to host an enriching series for consultants and professionals who share a deep commitment to helping nonprofits achieve their missions. Over the four convenings attendees:

1. Shared expertise and experiences with peers
2. Explored tools and resources that make it easier for nonprofits, clients, and partners to find you
3. Expanded their networks of partners and collaborators to build  capacity to take on new projects
4. Worked together to co-create future agendas and opportunities for achieving collaborative, transformative impact
