Mission Statement
The mission of Before There Were Borders is to provide grant writing and management services to non-profits who serve Middle Eastern non-profit organizations or NGO's. Our goal is to aid organizations develop the skills needed to succeed in meeting their mission statements. Our content is focused on delivering custom-tailored narratives to serve the local Middle Eastern populations in Southeast Michigan and world. We are motivated to serve this community because we have a deep understanding and connection with this population because we share the same cultural background.
Why do you think it’s important for your business or organization to support nonprofits and community organizations in Southeast Michigan and what kind of positive impact do you think your work could have?
It's important for our organization to support nonprofit and community organizations in Southeast Michigan because we are residents of the region. We understand that many nonprofits and community organizations have had budget cuts due to COVID-19 related issues. Therefore, we believe it is a civic duty to concentrate our services for those who serve our local communities. We believe that serving the local people by the local people creates a community that can thrive amid uncertain times. We believe the kind of positive impact our work could have is to establish a mutual partnership between nonprofits and the service providers that can set up success for us both. This partnership will allow us to fulfill our values of community service simultameously. When our grant writing services succeed, then the nonprofits succeed, which in turn is reflected towards the society that is served by the organization.
