Mission Statement
Commonwealth Consulting was created to increase the positive impact achieved by foundations and service providing nonprofits in Detroit by assisting with the development of strategy, building their capacity to implement these strategies and by managing multi-sector collaborative projects. I believe that my work with the firm’s clients must focus on building their core abilities so that they are not dependent on outside help to continue to grow and must draw upon their experience and unique strengths.
Why do you think it’s important for your business or organization to support nonprofits and community organizations in Southeast Michigan and what kind of positive impact do you think your work could have?
I work exclusively for social impact organizations in metro Detroit because these organizations are positioned to address inequity in the region and have the best opportunity to address the chronic problems that afflict too many disadvantaged adult, children and families. Commonwealth Consulting helps nonprofits to clarify their mission and build the knowledge, skills and resources needed to fulfill their goals.
