Mission Statement
Compliance and Community Consultants, LLC (CCC) is a Michigan-based consulting firm specializing in small business strategies and community development initiatives. Our mission is to empower entrepreneurs through tailored guidance in business planning, funding acquisition, sales strategies, and capacity building, thereby contributing to economic growth in their communities.
CCC has forged partnerships with various organizations to bolster affordable housing and economic development efforts. We are committed to expanding into property management to revitalize communities by acquiring and renovating properties, aiming to enhance physical infrastructure and create economic opportunities.
Our work is deeply personal to our President, Lysa Davis, a proud Detroiter. Raised in Detroit and a graduate of Redford High School and Wayne State University, Lysa's journey as a business owner began at 21 as a licensed nail technician, funding her own education. At 24, her dream of homeownership was halted due to a lack of understanding of business taxes and self-employment. This setback ignited her passion for financial education, leading her to become a lender, winning multiple awards for lending and affordable housing.
Driven by her parents' experience of losing their businesses due to a lack of succession planning, Lysa is dedicated to educating entrepreneurs on business planning, succession planning, the power of small business loans, and capacity building. With over 20 years in community banking and 13 years as a Community Reinvestment Act Officer for multiple financial institutions, Lysa has devoted her career to educating high-minority and low to moderate-income communities on financial literacy, investing in affordable housing developments, and fostering workforce and small business development.
At CCC, we are committed to Lysa's vision of creating a vibrant and prosperous future for all by empowering entrepreneurs, strengthening communities, and driving economic growth through education and strategic partnerships.
