Mission Statement
Guiding Force Consulting was founded out of the growing need for fundraising expertise in the metro Detroit area. While new non-profits are being formed daily, teams are struggling to keep up with the ever changing fundraising landscape. With not enough trained professionals to hire, new fundraising tools and technology popping up daily, and a growing list of fundraising methods, it can be overwhelming and confusing for many organizations. Our mission is to help non-profit professionals re-focus their energy on raising mission-critical funds by utilizing technology and data to drive efficient and effective fundraising processes and to personalize relationships with donors.
Why do you think it’s important for your business or organization to support nonprofits and community organizations in Southeast Michigan and what kind of positive impact do you think your work could have?
Non-profit organizations are the most important change agents in our country. The passionate staff, endless hours and complete dedication shown by non-profit employees, volunteers and partners are the cause of imperative policy changes, saving lives, creating long-term sustainability of entire communities and helping people find their purpose. In my opinion, companies and community organizations have an obligation to support and get involved with local non-profit missions to give back to the communities and people that have helped their business achieve success. We believe our work will allow non-profit professionals to focus their energy on raising funds and building relationships in a more efficient and beneficial manner through the use of technology, rather than spending time tracking donations by hand or guessing which strategies are most effective. It is our hope that any organization we work with feel more equipped to make data driven decisions and has the confidence to utilize resources we’ve implemented to save time and money, allowing more funds to go toward their mission.
