Mission Statement
I work with nonprofits to elevate brands, craft compelling narratives, and lead strategic communications and media campaigns proven to advance organizational goals. I am a creative storyteller, trusted advisor, and dedicated people leader. My process is iterative, intentional, and inventive. Over my 20+ years working in creative roles, I have enjoyed collaborating with thoughtful, committed stakeholders to help them bring big ideas to life across platforms, design and execute comprehensive communications and marketing plans, and convene key spokespeople on critical efforts that accelerate social impact.
Why do you think it’s important for your business or organization to support nonprofits and community organizations in Southeast Michigan and what kind of positive impact do you think your work could have?
I have spent 22+ years in marketing and communications, leading work to make public policy and systems change at a national level, and have worked extensively with nonprofits and advocates in all 50 states to advocate for policy change around health, racial, education, and gender equity. I left my DC-based firm in September 2022 solely because I wanted to work locally. I've lived in Michigan since 2017 and love this state! I want to specifically use my skills to make an impact here in my own backyard.
