While we feel Say It Write's fees are a reasonable exchange for the service we provide, we acknowledge that some organizations do not have the financial means to compensate us for our work; therefore, on occasion, we will donate our services. When feasible we also allow for flexible payment terms to accommodate grant periods, budget seasons, and unexpected expenses.
Mission Statement
I help organizations, brands, professionals, and entrepreneurs communicate their social mission and articulate their authentic voice. Their words matter because they and their work matter. I believe in honoring voices with appropriate, intentional, and authentic communication. I was raised that if you cannot say anything nice, do not say anything at all. This directive shaped and influenced my interactions with others and how I did or did not show up. I practiced being polite, nice, and silent until I realized that you can say anything, it's all about how you say it.Why do you think it’s important for your business or organization to support nonprofits and community organizations in Southeast Michigan and what kind of positive impact do you think your work could have?
I have had the privilege of working for and in partnership with many nonprofits across metro Detroit during my career and possess an intimate familiarity with the challenges they face. Nonprofit organizations are burden with the responsibility of standing in the gap for those whom the public sector does not have the capacity to support. I deeply believe in the impact so many organizations are making across the region and my career and Say It Write are evidence of my advocacy for nonprofits and the people they serve. Say It Write helps to raise awareness about the issues and work nonprofit organizations are doing and is often utilized to attract supporters and resources.
