Why do you think it’s important for your business or organization to support nonprofits and community organizations in Southeast Michigan and what kind of positive impact do you think your work could have?
I am well-versed in the Southeast Michigan market, and have been renovating a home in Detroit proper. I am now, more than ever, a part of the fabric of the city, and am energized by the people and organizations here. My depth of experience working as an independent contractor for The Kresge Foundation, The McGregor Fund, The Detroit Symphony Orchestra and having published a book with Wayne State University Press, “Canvas Detroit,” to name a few, has informed how I solve communication and branding problems for those in the Metro Detroit area. I know the character and speak the language of Detroit, the city of my birth.
