Addional Pricing Information
I work with clients to define the scope of a project and then provide a fair flat fee. At times, I will work with clients to change the scope, break the project into phases, or find other solutions to make the fee work within available funds, meet grant requirements, etc. My goal is to help organizations move forward in their succession planning and talent management practices in a way that is in line with their budget with no "surprises."
Mission Statement
Tower & Company works primarily with mission-driven organizations in the Southeast Michigan area to help improve their talent management (selection, talent development, succession planning, performance management, etc.) and organizational development. There are many organizations doing extremely valuable work in this geographical area and it is very rewarding to me to help them increase their capacity to do good. When I work with an organization to avoid a bad fit hire, or adequately prepare for a leadership transition, or help their staff gain new skills, the organization is better able to achieve its mission. Why do you think it’s important for your business or organization to support nonprofits and community organizations in Southeast Michigan and what kind of positive impact do you think your work could have?
Turnover in key roles (including leadership and fundraising roles) and a lack of succession planning threatens the sustainability of nonprofit organizations. The departure of a key player can impact an organization in a variety of ways: decreased staff engagement and morale, decreased continuity and reputation, and increased uncertainty, as well as adding direct costs of turnover to a likely already strained budget. Tower & Co can help organizations identify future leaders and develop them, minimize the risk associated with turnover of key positions, and become a more desirable employer. Succession planning is more than finding a replacement for a retiring executive. It’s about developing leadership bench strength at all levels of the organization to create a more sustainable organization.
