Mission Statement
Nourish provides an artful style of facilitation that centers creativity, communication, and community. We deliver workshops and social learning events that take a human-centered approach to DEIA so that diverse audiences can develop more self-awareness, enhance communication skills, and build creative confidence. The market is saturated with diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-racism (DEIA) programs that lack imagination and maintain the status quo. That is why our interactive programs blend creative practices with potent conversations so that participants can (1) learn from diverse perspectives, (2) build capacity on topics related to diversity, inclusion, equity, and anti-racism, and (3) strengthen relationships. The Nourish Approach delivers workshops, retreats, and events that are immersive. We don’t offer traditional DEI training - we design experiences where people feel safe to take risks by tapping into the power of creativity and curiosity. Our learning experiences have looked like Creative Conflict & Communication Workshops, Collage & Communication Workshops, DEI Dinner Parties, Creative Problem-Solving Sessions, and more.
Why do you think it’s important for your business or organization to support nonprofits and community organizations in Southeast Michigan and what kind of positive impact do you think your work could have?
Nourish is eager to support nonprofits and community organizations because we are passionate about the power of the arts to unlock cultural change. Our unique offerings are a refreshing step away from "traditional training" with a focus on impactful, immersive, and memorable learning experiences. We believe that creative play is essential and in scarce supply. When it comes to positive impact, we aspire to provide leaders and creative thinkers with the tools to communicate more authentically, navigate conflict with compassion, and foster a cultural climate of inclusivity.
